| You should have some introductory Geoscience background, but the course will be accessible to those from other disciplines such as physics, mathematics, acoustics, engineering. If you have no Geoscience background please contact me to discuss your potential enrollment. |
| Much of the course will include mathematical analysis relying heavily on calculus and vector calculus. Enrolled students should be comfortable with these subjects. |
| Most of the laboratory exercises will require some computer usage - basic familiarity with a computer is essential. |
