Scientific Investigations

Most often, authors associate science with a specific method of investigation. In reality no single method of doing science exists. Scientists, like everyone else, have different abilities, creative talents, and biases, all of which impact how we do our science. Two scientists can look at the same set of observation and notice different aspects, one may note the general rules, the other the exceptions to the general pattern. A general (but not universal) model for scientific investigations is:
